About the PowerCon acquisition
PowerCon is a recognised leader in the development and delivery of shore power solutions, enabling vessels at port to connect directly to the electrical grid and reduce emissions while docked. The company also supplies specialised testing equipment for power converters used in the wind industry.
The acquisition of PowerCon represents a strategic expansion of KK Group's capabilities within power conversion and electrical infrastructure. Combined with its existing expertise in power converters for onshore and offshore wind turbines, cooling systems, and condition monitoring solutions, PowerCon's technologies create new opportunities to serve customers across a wider range of industries and applications.
